Plant factory is a closed system that the environment and factors important for plant growth, such as light wave range, light intensity, temperature, humidity, fertilizer, as well as carbon dioxide content can be well-controlled. It relies on a light source from LED bulbs that colors and wavelengths can be adjusted according to the type of plant and growth stage, to maximize yields or active ingredient contents.
