EECi BIOPOLIS provides a plant factory in which plant parameters can be fully controlled to gain an in-depth understanding of parameters affecting plant production as well as to suit the cultivation environment of each plant.
For instance, light spectrum range to produce sweet and crispy vegetables can be well comprehended and the suitable range is applied for large-scale production in the plant factory. This facility can also serve as a demonstration site for trials in large-scale production as well as for technology transfer to plant growers and entrepreneurs.
