Agricultural Technology and Innovation Management Institute (AGRITEC) under  National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) is committed to the advancement of the agricultural sector through the utilization of technology and innovation. The main objective is to enhance the productivity and competitiveness of the agricultural sector while also reducing inequality and promoting grassroots economic development through the use of local resources Aligned with the BCG economic model, which prioritizes the utilization of technology and innovation to drive the country’s development, AGRITEC aims to disseminate knowledge, technology and innovation in agriculture to achieve comprehensive outcomes. This includes increasing production efficiency, creating added value, as well as facilitating networking and cooperation between farmers, communities, government, and private sectors.


AGRITEC provides collaborative services from the government, private sector, academia, and community sectors to create learning and access to technology for farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs. This is done to increase the efficiency and quality of agricultural products to meet market demands through various means such as training programs in agricultural technology, upskilling and reskilling of farmers and communities, and applying inclusive innovation strategies. Some examples of these programs include the Agriculture System Integrator (ASI) training course to promote smart agriculture entrepreneurship

Training courses are provided under various programs such as developing agricultural technology and smart agriculture learning resources, disseminating knowledge on organic farming, linking networks, and providing comprehensive study tours of production and processing methods.


Additionally, the Community-based Technology and Innovation Assistance Project (CTAP) provides consultation, technology transfer, and innovation support for communities, with up to 80% of the project budget covered by support and the remaining 20% by the applicant. These mechanisms are valuable tools for driving Agritec’s mission and meeting the demands of specific projects for the development of the country, particularly in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and the Thung Kularonghai Area.
